Monaco have secured their place in the Europa League final with a thrilling 3-2 win over Rennes at Stade de France on Wednesday night.
The match was full of drama and excitement as both sides looked to secure their passage to the semi-finals of the competition.
In the first half, Monaco took control of the game and were rewarded for their efforts when they scored two goals through Benjamin Mendy and Kylian Mbappe.
However, Rennes refused to give up and fought back to level the scoreline with goals from Yoann Gourcuff and Jonathan Bamba.
As the match went into extra time, Ben Yedder stepped up to the plate and scored twice to put Monaco back in front.
With just three minutes left to play, Rennes thought they had won it when substitute Adama Traore equalised for them.
But Mendy scored a late winner to send Monaco through to the semi-finals.
Ben Yedder's performance was particularly impressive as he continued his excellent form this season, scoring all five of his team-mates' goals.
He has now earned himself his 15th goal of the season, making him one of the top scorers in the league.
Overall, it was a fantastic display of football from both teams and a great way to end the campaign.
Monaco will now face either Villarreal or RB Leipzig in the semi-finals, while Rennes will look to bounce back from their defeat and continue their good form in the Coupe de France.
