The Cangzhou Lions have secured crucial points for their league survival in the Chinese Super League (CSL) with a hard-fought victory over Tianjin Dalian.

The Lions were leading 1-0 at half-time, but they struggled to hold on as Tianjin scored three times in the second half, including a penalty shoot-out winner from Zhang Zhihao and a goal by Guo Yuxuan. However, the Lions fought back with two goals apiece from Li Jianli and Chen Jie, before goalkeeper Wang Xun's save sealed the deal.
